Waterman AHW undertook the mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and fire protection designs for this scheme.
The scheme focused on enhancing the current retail, and food and beverage concept. Vertical circulation points and passenger flows have been re-organised to better integrate with the retail concept.
Escalators have been relocated so that passengers move through the retail precinct en route to lounges and concourse areas.
The retail precinct comprises a combination of shops, food and beverage, and seating, which encourages travellers to extend their time in the retail zone with a resultant increase in passenger spending.
