Services During Construction (SDC)

The Construction Services section within Waterman provides the Client with a site / contract administration facility throughout the construction / installation period. Each member of this section is multi-skilled in Electrical, Mechanical, Fire, Hydraulic and Security disciplines.

The Construction Services scope ranges from full or part-time site attendance, contractor selection, reviewing workshop drawings and designs to inspections and reporting of the installation and equipment both on and off site, testing of equipment at the manufacturer's workshops, through to the administration tasks of valuation of costs, assessing of variations and progress claims followed by the management of commissioning, testing and demonstration of the individual systems within each service.

	Together with the preparation of defects and rectification plans and schedules, management and demonstration of functional testing of various essential and critical systems to comply with the Authority's Guidelines and the finalisation of certificates for both the essential and non-essential services to Certifying Authority's requirements.

Construction Services provides to the Client, Project Management Team, Architect, Developer or Builder a sense of comfort that the design of the services for the particular project is being installed to the contractual and specification requirements and will be performance operational to meet the desired needs.
