Workplace6, Darling Island, Sydney

Waterman are engaged as engineering consultants for MEP services and related Ecologically Sustainable Development. This 6 Star Green Star development is currently the greenest commercial building in NSW.

The building comprises one basement level carpark, ground floor lobby and retail and five floors of premium grade office. The total Nett Lettable Area is 18,000m². · The design targets 6 star Green Star and 5 star plus 40% ABGR. It will be the first building in NSW aiming for the highest possible ratings in both ABGR (Australian Building Greenhouse Rating) scheme and the Green Building Council of Australia's Green Star scheme. · Included in the design is chilled beam cooling technology, co-generation systems using gas fired generator and an absorption chiller, bearing- less centrifugal electric chillers, harbour water heat rejection, black water (sewer) mining and recycling, advanced lighting controls including daylight compensation and dimming, carbon dioxide monitoring for minimum outside air modulation, solar hot water and other energy and water efficiency measures.

 

Latitude, Site C, World Square, Sydney

Waterman designed all MEP services on this building incorporating ESD (Environmentally Sustainable Development) principles to conform to ABGR (Australian Building Green Rating) 4.5 Star.

This building is the final stage of the World Square Site development in Sydney's business district. It comprises 21 levels of high quality commercial, retail and car parking. This will serve as the new Sydney offices of the Australian Taxation Office

 

2 Park Street, Sydney

2 Park Street, Sydney (Citigroup Centre)

Waterman provided all electrical and mechanical system designs, provision of structural cabling for communications, stand-by power supply and UPS incorporation into the base building design for the Head Office, general offices, dealing rooms, computer room and retail banking facilities.

Citigroup Centre includes:

Cisco Systems, Chatswood, Sydney

Cisco Systems, Melbourne, Chatswood & North Sydney

Waterman have developed three existing premises for Cisco Systems in Melbourne, Chatswood and North Sydney, and performed due diligence reports for a new building under negotiation.

Melbourne
Waterman designed and upgraded the mechanical, fire protection and hydraulic services of the tenancy and designed the fitout of the 270m2 computer room and several meeting rooms.

Chatswood & North Sydney
Waterman
performed Facilities Management services to both tenancies, undertook a full Y2K audit of all Cisco's assets, re-designed the UPS and diesel back-up systems, prepared a Planned Preventative Maintenance Programme for both tenancies, organised and carried out monthly standard-of-maintenance inspections.

Other works:
Waterman
established a single protocol to be utilised throughout Cisco's Australian sites using Trend Alarm Panels.

All UPS failures, air conditioning failures, etc, from all Cisco offices Australia-wide are sent to a central call point where they are recorded and Waterman AHW notified to rectify the problem.

 

Grosvenor Place, Sydney

Waterman provided all electrical and mechanical system designs, provision of structural cabling for communications, stand-by power supply and UPS incorporation into the base building design for the various tenancies within Grosvenor Place.
