Interactive 3D Design

Interactive 3D Design is now being applied by Waterman Group on selected projects which require co-ordination of complex services and where benefits can be achieved from the provision of working drawing, fabrication drawings and schedules of materials for direct use by Contractors. A knowledge management system is incorporated within the design enabling asset management, pricing, procurement, specification, operating, maintenance and FM information to be held on a database accessed directly from drawings. The Consultant and Contractor must work together to produce a single model that can be used by the whole Design Team.
