In order to enable complex design and detailing simply with greater accuracy and facilitate collaborative working within the design, construction and FM teams, advanced 3D computer modelling techniques are applied to the engineering design process. Architecture, structure and building services are assembled in a virtual model allowing greater appreciation of the interfaces between components. Our 3D modelling process allows a designer to develop a fully coordinated model incorporating the different design disciplines combating the need for late changes in the design development, meaning unnecessary engineering costs are avoided in the design process.
